March 2019 Community Shredding Event and Food Drive

Graves Realty Group hosted its second annual Free Community Shredding Event & Food Drive on March 16th and it was a great success with 50+ families attending! Client appreciation and community service are two things near and dear to us here at Graves Realty Group.

Food Drive to support Loaves & Fishes

Loaves & Fishes is a local charity that makes a big impact providing groceries for families in need. It is truly a blessing to assist Loaves & Fishes with their Mission Statement: Loaves & Fishes provides nutritionally balanced groceries to individuals and families in Charlotte-Mecklenburg who are in a short-term crisis. Our food drive goal was to fuel local families with a "Breakfast of Champions" by collecting hot & cold cereals, 100% fruit juice, and canned fruits! Our efforts resulted in nearly 400 lbs of donations! We filled more than FOUR collection bins to the top! Those donations will go to families in need right in our own community. We are so thankful to our clients, neighbors, and friends that helped us make a real impact in our community.

Raffle!

We always like to have a little fun at our events with a raffle! Every family that donated to Loaves & Fishes was entered to win an Amazon Gift Card! We are excited to announce that the winner was … Yolanda Harris! We hope she enjoys treating herself to something on Amazon! Thank you again for showing your support.

Community Shredding Event with PROSHRED Security

We wanted to help aid our clients and community in their spring cleaning efforts by offering free shredding.  We all understand the battle with never ending papers and it’s so very important to dispose of important documents safely. Proshred Charlotte is a professional mobile document shredding service. They brought their truck on site and a gentleman assisted with ensuring that documents were disposed of in a confidential manner. They actually shred on site which was very comforting.
