Air Conditioner Tips

With beautiful summer weather comes high temperatures and the need to use your air conditioner to cool your home. We want to share a few tips that will help you care for your air conditioner and maximize your investment to keep your air conditioner in great shape!

Help Your Air Conditioner Last Longer

Although most air conditioners are expected to last from 12 to 15 years, lifespan can vary based on use and maintenance. You can help extend the life of your system by scheduling a minimum once-yearly tune-up. The short-term cost of yearly maintenance can help delay the tall-order cost of a new air conditioner, particularly when the national average for a new system will run you upwards of $5,000 or more.

Cost of Air Conditioner Tune-up

If you schedule yearly servicing with a professional, an annual tune-up will probably cost between $100 and $200. However, if you have not been maintaining your system, the initial cost may be higher to get your system back in shape.

Frank Liske 5K Volunteer Event

On June 1st we volunteered with Cabarrus Parks & Rec at the 5K at Frank Liske Park for the third year in a row. We love continuing this tradition which gives us the opportunity to support health and wellness in our community which is something that is very important to us. 15 family members and friends represented GRG by providing assistance and support to participants. We also had the privilege of awarding medals to all of the Fun Run participants!

Topgolf Client Appreciation Event

On June 9th we hosted the First Annual Topgolf Client Appreciation Event. As with all of our events, we combined this with a community service opportunity and supported the local Men's Shelter of Charlotte. We asked our attendees to please bring new packages of men's underwear and undershirts (the most needed items). We truly love any opportunity to support our community while also celebrating our clients. The evening was a great time of bonding, fellowship, food, and fun over golf.
