Graves Realty Group, Inc.’s Annual Client Family Reunion

“Commitment Beyond Sold,” the mission statement of Graves Realty Group, was evident at the annual Graves Realty Group, Inc.’s client family reunion. Roughly 200 clients, friends, and family (and clients that have become friends and family!) came out on Sunday, October 14th to the Barn at Frank Liske Park in Concord, NC to partake in community, fellowship, and family fun as a thank you from GRG.
Frank Liske Park was the ideal location. We congregated in the two story barn which is a refurbished dairy barn and silo. On the lower level we were greeted with a professional photographer to capture each family that attended. We received a copy of the photo which was a nice treat!
So many things to enjoy!
Various local vendors relating to home ownership and the buying process were available: a pressure washing company, mortgage companies, home inspectors, and flooring companies were all available to discuss their services, answer questions, and provide potential clients with a few goodies.
The children enjoyed a very talented face painter and a bouncy house, which always brings lots of smiles! Mini golf and paddle boats on the gorgeous 10-acre lake were enjoyed by all ages. From what I heard, most adults were stuck paddling for the children and it was a killer workout, but loads of fun! Creative juices flowed for both adults and children while working on a yarn picture frame craft on the lower level of the barn.
In the upper level of the barn delicious food was served and raffle prizes were awarded. The food was catered by, The Coffee People in Concord, NC, and it was amazing. True family reunion fare was served: pulled-pork, pulled chicken, coleslaw, salad, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, and sweet tea. It was all so delicious!
Exciting Changes within Graves Realty Group!
Graves Realty Group grew by two people this year. The very exciting announcement was made that a year ago Shauna’s husband, Ray, joined as a Real Estate Agent. Shauna expressed that it is a dream come true to have him working together alongside her and it has been all she dreamed it would be. Ray’s experience and knowledge adds great value to their team. Shauna also shared her excitement and appreciation of having Stephanie Ijames join the team as the Client Care Coordinator. Stephanie has been friends and neighbors with the Graves for years and shared that she has such respect and love for the Graves; there is no other team she’d imagine joining. Stephanie is also the woman behind the delectable homemade desserts. The peach cobbler and pumpkin bars were to die for.
Raffles & Gifts!
Two very generous and appreciated grand prize raffles were awarded. Lillie Forde was the lucky winner of a new iPad! And a $200 Amazon gift card went home with the very lucky, Nephertira Gibson! Names were also drawn for gift cards, baskets, and lottery tickets–which are always so much fun. All families left with a token of appreciation–a GRG notebook and pencil with a play on words to remind everyone to send their friends and loved ones to GRG for all of their real estate needs: “Take “NOTE”! We are the “WRITE” company to “STICK” with for all your real estate needs!” Very clever and a cute memento from the day.
How the clients feel about Graves Realty Group!
I personally met Shauna Graves, Broker/Owner of GRG, three years ago as a client and three years later Shauna and her husband, Ray, and children, Olivia and Noah, are now our dear friends and family here in Charlotte. After meeting so many of her past clients I learned that we are not alone in the experience of creating a lasting relationship with the Graves.
While speaking with a few past clients, these were the common themes:
Her real estate knowledge is unmatched.
Her genuine and authentic nature always shines through.
You immediately feel like you are in good hands.
I wasn’t surprised at all to hear these wonderful things.
A very special gift card was awarded to the person that traveled the farthest. Doreen Hartono and Karim Kadrichu traveled to Charlotte from Maryland just for the reunion! Doreen described her relationship with Shauna and Ray as one she would always come back to again and again for her real estate needs. She bonded very quickly with Shauna and knew she was with an agent that was not only knowledgeable but also one that a real bond and friendship had been formed. Doreen remembered how nice the family reunion was last year and so she and her husband, Karim, decided to return this year and they plan to return year after year in true “family reunion” fashion. A true bond has formed with this family that they know, love, and trust.
Join the GRG family! We’ll see you at the reunion next reunion!
